Target/Ulta Makeup Haul!

Yesterday my friend and I wanted to make a trip to Target and Ulta to check out some makeup. She also wanted to get the James Charles palette which was restocked! We weren’t sure how many our local Ulta would have, so we wanted to get there right when it opened just in case.

Anyway, I just wanted to talk to you guys about what I got!

At Target, I ended up getting 3 makeup products. Firstly, I picked up the Wet n’ Wild Photo Focus Matte Face Primer. I previously was using the E.l.f. Tone Adjusting Face Primer and it’s just not my favorite, so I decided to try something new! Plus, I’ve heard good things about the Wet n’ Wild one!

Next, I got the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in the shade Precious Petals. I’ve heard really good things about this highlighter, and I really wanted another to play around with.

The last thing I got from target was a Milani Amore Metallic Lip Creme in the shade Chromatic Addict. It was discounted so I could not resist! The shade looks beautiful in the packaging!

My friend was luckily able to snatch not only one, but TWO James Charles palettes. One as a gift and one for herself. I slightly regret not buying one, but my wallet does not.

First, I needed to pick up a new bronzer. The one I used was honestly so old and definitely expired and really needed to be thrown away. I have heard really good things about the Murumuru Butter Butter Bronzer from Physician’s Formula, so I picked it up in the shade Bronzer.

Essence Soft Contouring Lipliners were on sale for like $1, so I picked up two of those. I got the shades Going Steady and Big Proposal.

I’ve heard that NYX lip products are pretty good, and their Intense Butter Glosses were on sale. I’m not the biggest fan of gloss, but I still wanted to give these a try after reading some reviews. I got the shade Apple Dumpling.

Lastly, I wanted to find a concealer. I’ve gone my whole life without finding one light enough for me. I distinctly remember getting an E.l.f. concealer in the lightest shade and thinking it looked kind of dark in the bottle. I figured it might have been the lighting in the store and that it might show up differently on my skin. It was 100% a contour shade on me! Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Conceal & Contour had some lighter shades I was interested in when I looked online, but they didn’t have C1 in stock. C3 is also described exactly the same, “for fair skin with neutral undertones.” It’s definitely a little teeny bit darker than I wanted, but it at least matches my foundation. I can deal with that! Hopefully, after testing this product I can figure out if I like the formula enough to repurchase. Then, hopefully, I can find C1 in stock!

There’s my new makeup haul! Are there any products I mentioned that you guys have tried before? Are there any products you guys definitely would like to see a review on? Let me know in the comments!
